About
3x3 OLL Method Class is an advanced, mentor-led training program that helps students master the 3x3 OLL method (Orientation of the Last Layer) so they can finish solves faster, with fewer pauses and more consistency. This class focuses on the two skills that make OLL truly useful in real solves: quick case recognition and smooth algorithm execution—taught in a structured, student-friendly way that builds confidence step by step. What students will learn in this class 1) Understanding OLL (the “why” behind the last layer) What the 3x3 OLL method is and where it fits in the CFOP solve (after F2L, before PLL) How orientation works for last-layer edges and corners How to keep the first two layers intact while executing OLL 2) OLL case recognition (see it fast, solve it fast) How to identify OLL cases using simple visual cues (dot, line, L-shape, bars, headlights) Recognizing cases from different angles to reduce “cube rotations” Building a personal recognition checklist to eliminate hesitation 3) OLL algorithms (learn correctly, remember longer) Learning OLL algorithms in a logical sequence (easy → medium → advanced) Understanding common triggers and move patterns to improve memory Correct AUF (adjusting the U face) and avoiding mis-execution mistakes Fixing common issues: wrong case selection, broken F2L, and inconsistent finishes 4) Finger tricks & turning technique Efficient grips and finger tricks for the most-used OLL triggers Turning accuracy drills to reduce lockups and improve flow How to practice slowly first, then increase speed safely 5) Practice system for speed + consistency Daily micro-drills to build algorithm fluency without overload Timed OLL-only practice + full-solve integration practice Progress tracking: learned cases, weak cases, and improvement milestones How the program works Students progress through guided lessons with demonstrations, coached practice, and challenge-based activities. Each module includes: (1) recognition training, (2) alg
